What to look for in a planning application

Location
The municipal address, and which side of which intersection.
Applicant
The company named on the file, and the developer behind it.
Planning file
Each statutory application has its own file number; one proposal often has several.
Height and units
Storeys, unit count and density, where the municipality publishes them.
Status
Filed, under review, approved, refused, or appealed to the Ontario Land Tribunal.
Meeting dates
The statutory public meeting, and the later Council decision.
